ABOUT OUR PROJECT
The team at the Frick opened their doors to our class. We visited the grounds. Students captured field recordings on site. And students got to look through archival materials from Frick history. They divided the labor and tackled this meticulous, rich work as a team.
The students developed their sites in a highly collaborative working environment. Every week, the students would discuss their progress in groups to get feedback. Some had tech savvy. Some were good at wordsmithing. Some found interesting connections between sites. They helped each other and leaned into their strengths.
Exhibit Launch: After receiving a welcome from Frick Pittsburgh Executive Director Elizabeth Barker (above), students presented their work and described their project development process.
With appreciation for the collaboration with the team at Frick Pittsburgh and with special thanks to Caito Amorose, Curator of Performance Events.
